  • 支付渠道：PayPal 与 Gumroad 在各自的平台上处理支付交易；我们不会接收或存储您的完整银行卡信息。

1. Who we are

TriScope ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-based Chinese metaphysics analysis services, including Zi Wei Dou Shu (Purple Star Astrology), Ba Zi (Four Pillars), and Qi Men Dun Jia, through the TriScope website (the "Service"). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, username, and password (stored as a salted hash).
  • Birth information: your date and time of birth, which you provide so we can generate your chart and analysis.
  • Content you submit: chat messages, questions, and any other content you send during an analysis session.
  • Payment information: we do not store card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party providers (PayPal and Gumroad; Gumroad accepts credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay). We may store order numbers, amounts, and transaction status for accounting and support purposes.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages visited, and server logs.
  • Cookies and local storage: see Section 6 below.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to: provide the Service (chart generation, AI analysis, reports, and email delivery); manage your account; process and verify payments; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; improve and maintain the Service; comply with legal obligations; and respond to your requests and support inquiries.

4. Sharing with third parties

  • AI service providers: to generate your analysis, we transmit your chat messages and birth information to third-party AI services (for example OpenAI, DeepSeek, Zhipu AI, or other OpenAI-compatible providers we may configure). Those providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Payment processors: PayPal and Gumroad process payment transactions on their own platforms; we do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Email and communication services: we may use email services to deliver reports or notices you request.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or enforceable request, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cross-border transfer

The Service is operated on infrastructure located in China. AI service providers may be located in China or abroad (for example, the United States). Where your personal information is transferred across borders, we rely on safeguards and mechanisms recognized by applicable law, and we will inform you in accordance with applicable requirements.

6. Cookies and local storage

  • Essential cookies: WordPress login and session cookies (for example wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-*) and WooCommerce cart and session cookies (for example woocommerce_cart_hash, wp_woocommerce_session_*). These are necessary for the Service to function.
  • Local storage: we store your language preference in your browser's local storage under the key TriScope_lang.
  • Third-party payment pages may set their own cookies when you complete a transaction on their sites.
  • Advertising and analytics: we do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will request consent where required by applicable law.

7. Data retention

We retain account and chat data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for security, legal compliance, accounting, and dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 8.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and China's Personal Information Protection Law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; to withdraw consent; and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection or other supervisory authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, store passwords as salted hashes, and apply access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
